Dr. Drew M. Mittelman

Dr. MittelmanTo My Fabulous Patients,

Over the last forty-six years of practicing dentistry, I have had the pleasure of delivering care to many thousands of patients. I have spent over forty-two years proudly serving the Dedham community and have especially loved getting to know all of you. After much thought and a significant amount of angst, I have decided that now is the right time to finish up my practice of dentistry. I am blessed with good health, a growing family, and lots of interests. I do not want to take any of this for granted, so I feel it is the correct time to move into the next chapter of my life. I am so grateful to all of you for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to take care of your dental needs. As I’ve said to my wife many times, going to work gives me the opportunity to see at least 15 friends every day.

Many of you have seen my partners, Dr. Louis Sawan and Dr. Marina Rusinova, throughout the years. Joining them will be Dr. Neil Patel, a terrific young dentist. Dr. Patel is from New Jersey, attended Rutgers University and Tufts School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, he did a prestigious hospital based dental residency in New York and has been practicing locally in Quincy since then. We have spoken to many of his instructors from Tufts, whom we know personally, and they have nothing but the highest praise for his clinical skills and character. We are excited to bring Dr. Patel on board.

Continuity of care is extremely important to me and the other providers here at DDA. All of our superb hygienists will continue to focus on maintaining your oral health. Our fantastic front and back desk staff will be there to handle any business or insurance concerns you may have. And of course, Lilly will be here to assist Dr. Patel and help you get acquainted.

I want to thank you all again for the years of satisfaction and enjoyment you have given me. Lou Gehrig might have said he “was the luckiest man on the face of the earth” but sorry Lou, I know I have you beat!

Sincerely,

Dr. Drew Mittelman
